On June 16, 2016 the Supreme Court of the United States (“SCOTUS”) issued its much anticipated decision in the Kingdomware Technologies, Inc. v. United States case (“Kingdomware”). One of two important cases, both decided on the same day, Kingdomware and Universal Health Services, Inc. v. Escobar,[1][1] constitute those rare SCOTUS decisions that have direct and important implications for the government contracts world.
“Kingdomware” decision applies to VA but could affect broader regulations.

The Inter-agency Suspension and Debarment Committee (ISDC) recently issued its annual report summarizing agency suspension and debarment activities from fiscal year 2015. The purpose of the ISDC is to help agencies build and maintain the expertise necessary to consider suspension and debarment as necessary to protect contract and program integrity. The annual report is mandated by the 2009 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
The General Services Administration is seeking proposals from vendors on its $50 billion Alliant 2 IT services contracts.

Vendors have two months to submit proposals for a spot on GSA’s second generation IT services GWACs.
“These next-gen Alliant vehicles have great potential to provide agencies with new IT offerings, expanded scope and flexible options while driving down costs for the American taxpayer,” said Mary Davie, assistant commissioner for GSA’s Office of Integrated Technology Services.
