The Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) of 2006, required that the Office of Management and Budget establish a single searchable website, accessible to the public at no cost to access, to include for each Federal award: (1) The name of the entity receiving the award; (2) The amount of the award; (3) Information on the award including transaction type, funding agency, etc; (4) The location of the entity receiving the award; and (5) A unique identifier of the entity receiving the award. The Small Business Dashboard website SmallBusinessDashboard.gov displays information about federal contracts awarded to Small Businesses and is a subset of the information available on USASpending.gov.
